Terms of sale
Updated: [PLACEHOLDER: date of last update]
Who you are buying from
Argos is provided by Rooken, [PLACEHOLDER: CVR number], [PLACEHOLDER: company address], [PLACEHOLDER: support email]. These terms apply to purchases of an Argos subscription once the product launches.
The subscription
Argos is sold as a rolling subscription. The subscription covers the agreed number of machines and renews automatically per payment period until cancelled.
Prices are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices for individuals include VAT; prices for businesses exclude VAT.
Payment
[PLACEHOLDER: payment methods and payment provider]. Payment is charged in advance of each period. If payment fails, a reminder is sent before access is closed.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act.
Note the special rules for digital content and digital services: if you want the subscription activated before the withdrawal period expires, you give express consent at the time of ordering to the delivery beginning, and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal for the started period may be limited to the extent the service has already been delivered. If you withdraw within the period, the unused part of the period is refunded proportionally.
Business purchases are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

Cancellation
The subscription can be cancelled at any time, effective from the end of the current payment period. The remaining part of an already paid period is not refunded unless mandatory legislation provides otherwise.
What Argos is, and what it is not
Argos is an inspection tool that monitors the computer’s security settings and reports status. Argos is not an antivirus program and does not guarantee against break-ins, data loss or other security incidents. Argos supplements, but does not replace, ordinary security software, updates and common sense.
Limitation of liability
Rooken is liable under the general rules of Danish law. However, Rooken is not liable for indirect losses, including operating losses, lost profits or loss of data, and total liability is limited to the amount the customer has paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. These limitations do not apply where they conflict with mandatory legislation, including consumer protection rules.
[PLACEHOLDER: to be aligned with a lawyer, especially towards consumers]
Governing law and venue
The agreement is governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts. For consumers, the mandatory venue rules of the Danish Administration of Justice Act apply.
